Freya is a spicy little thing who tends to speak before she thinks, luckily she is favoured and protected by the gods.
Bjorn – if you have seen some of the character art floating on the internet, wow, he’s a stud. He is the first person who seems to care about Freya and what she needs.
This book was such a fun read, we have magic and Vikings and warrior women who aren’t content with sitting at home keeping the hearth warm. I loved it. There are a few repetitive cringey phrases, but even that could not take away from how much I enjoyed it! (sorry my editor brain will not stop counting how many times a certain phrase shows up, it’s a curse)
Book 2 will be coming in May 2025 and you can bet I will be putting in a preorder at my local bookstore to get my hands on it, as much as I wish I could find Danielle in the city and just ask a couple questions over a cup of coffee!!!
