The visual details and the world building in this book are beyond incredible. I cannot get over the fact that the author is a high school student!!!
We follow a few different POV – Leo, the eldest brother of a family trying to survive after losing their parents. There is something different about their family that means they have to stay hidden and careful. Cael is the adopted brother who is bonded to the family by a tie stronger than blood.
We meet new characters as our family tries to find a home where they can be free.
This book was really well written and I can’t wait to read book 2 which is now available.
