Oh there is nothing I love more than a book that takes place somewhere I actually know!!!
Everlyn is also a Canadian Prairies girl and there were a few comments in the book I LOVED (loonie sized blisters! haha) Is this what people from New York City feel about… basically every single book out there?
Anyways, I digress…
Theo is so funny. She’s an author who is living in a rural cabin with few neighbours and even fewer friends. She’s snarky and sarcastic and I adore her so much. She’s clumsy and likes cake. I think we might be related.
So, when she finds out that her husband who has been missing for six years might be mixed up in some pretty messed up stuff, her life takes a VERY sharp turn, and she learns there is a whole world out there that is completely hidden from us. Vampires? Fae? Hilarious one liners?
I’m so excited to read the next one.
