The Unmaking of June Farrow ~ Adrienne Young

Reviewed by Dusti

What an incredible book! This is the second book I have read by Adrienne Young and I can say I am for sure a fan of her writing style. There is something just so beautiful about the way that she creates her characters. They are flawed and human and so real and raw. I love that a lot.

The Farrow women are cursed and because of that curse we find a family that mothers, daughters and granddaughters are woven and intertwined in such a magical and strange way. We have a story of enduring loyalty, family ties and what we are willing to sacrifice for those we love.

I highly suggest this book to anyone who wants a story of love with a glimmer of magic

I borrowed my copy from my public library but if you are interested in purchasing a copy and supporting my blog please find it here

*spoiler alert – leave now if you have not read*

I felt a lot of The Time Travellers Wife in this book which is one of my very favourite reads. The magic of timelines and crossing into different existences is just something that I really enjoy reading about. The heartbreak of losing someone to time and the knowledge of what their future holds breaks my heart in the best way.
