Cassie is running away, she’s putting miles and miles between her and her life, returning herself to where her life originally went off the rails 10 years ago. Can she return and restart her life over? Or will her New York past catch up to her in the mountains of Yosemite?
This book was brilliantly written. Fast paced, but with a lot of details about the park and climbing that you could visualize yourself out on the trails with the SAR teams. Every character is realistic and believable, and the rescues feel like a “ripped from the newspaper” incident,
I don’t want to give anything away but that twisty ending had me unable to put the book down. Incredibly well done. Makes me want MORE.
